*”I’d been there twice to have my eight year old bike maintained. When my bottom bracket became loose I decided to ask a local competitor what it would cost to have my bicycle repaired and the estimate was three times as much and I was told that it would take three days. I went to Richwagen’s and not only was my bike repaired in two hours but I wasn’t sold a new and unecessary bottom bracket. Rather my original bottom bracket was cleaned, lubricated and my gears were reset. He also tightened up my breaks. All for twenty one dollars.

*”Called a week before our trip for a week rental of 2 road bikes w/ SPD pedals. Lisa was there at checkout and return and very helpful and friendly. The bikes were in great shape mechanically, included multi-tool, flat repair stuff, water bottle, and the rates were great.
I was a bit concerned seeing a couple of the other reviews but my experience was great and would absolutely go back. In my 2 times in the shop I can see where they get ebbs and flows of anxious tourists as the shop can go from empty to 10 customers in 2 minutes. – James Kahkoska

*”My experience with them was excellent. My rear wheel spokes kept breaking on my Schwin Voyageur. After taking it to several local bike shops for repairs that did not solve the problem I took it to Richwagen’s. They ordered a new wheel with stronger spokes and I have never had a problem since. Later on I purchased a seat they recommended to replace the inferior one that a I purchased from another bike shop. It was an excellent choice. I am very pleased with the service I received and Morgan did a fantastic job on the repairs (pleasant, patient with my questions, etc.). I thought the repair prices were more than fair (and I didn’t notice exuberant prices on new bikes when I looked when dropping my bike off). Pleasant environment, nice small town vibe and friendliness. And on top of that, they are reasonably priced. A few months ago I got my bike stolen, pretty heartbreaking, because I love my bicycle. *”Trust matters. I got a flat on A1A and called Richwagen to fix it. The spare flat blew as it is difficult to put a new tube in my tires properly. I had purchased the bike years ago at Richwagen and have gone into the shop periodically, but they don’t know me. I didn’t have a credit card on me, but they came, fixed the flat and trusted me to come in later in the afternoon and pay. *”Hiring these bikes made all the difference to our Delray Beach holiday. As travellers to Delray Beach who had no car we were finding it difficult to get to the beach or visit the various attractions on foot or by public transport. We asked a cyclist where he had hired his bike and he recommended Richwagons. We would heartily recommend them too. We hired 2 of their seven speed bikes for five days at their good value weekly rate. It meant we could get around and see lots of things which we could never have reached on foot or by bus and which we could not have afforded to visit by taxi. For around $139 in total we had use of the 2 bikes for a week if we wanted it, plus baskets, chains and locks, helmets, and a nice little map showing cycle routes around the city that we could and did try out – some of them took us to places off the beaten track which we would not otherwise have seen and as a result we got a much better feeling for life in Delray Beach than if we had concentrated solely on the usual tourist places. Friendly, well-informed service in the shop, patient explanations of everything we wanted to know, and at the end of our hire the bikes were accepted back with a minimum of admin or delay. – linnetvant

*”Great Place to Rent Bikes. Within walking distance from most Beach Hotels, they have a knowlegeable staff and great selection of bikes. The traffic can get snarly in Delray Beach, but with a bike, who needs a car? I rented a 27 gear hybrid for a week, for $70. It came with helmet, lock and basket and was quite comfortable and easy to ride and you could crank up the speed. I’ve rented from them in the past without complaint, but they’ere getting better with age. – MikeMehary
